The Eaton 5SC UPS series offers line-interactive, cost-effective, and dependable protection for small business servers installed in any environment. The 5SC adds to Eaton’s line of industry-leading UPSs by having an LCD interface, manageability solutions that work with most IT systems, and sinewave output that makes sure even the most sensitive IT equipment can work with it.
The LCD interface displays the status of the UPS’s most important characteristics, including input and output voltage, load and battery level, and anticipated runtime. Essential configuration options for output voltage, audio alert, and sensitivity are also provided.
The 5SC supports serial and USB communication. The USB port is HID-compliant for automatic Windows, Mac OS, and Linux connectivity. On rack and R/T variants, a slot for an optional network management card is available. Eaton’s Intelligent Power Technologies Suite works with all of the major operating systems and software for virtualization.
The Eaton 5SC is offered in numerous form factors. Tower models are designed for easy integration in environments with space limitations. Rack models are designed to fit into 500mm short-depth enclosures, two-post racks, and wall mounts. Rack/tower variants are compatible with both tower and rack installations.
